Welcome to Giles Photography & The Frame Works • Eau Claire, Wisconsin
“When did you start the Panel Program?
We started the Panel Program in January of 1982. We have photographed thousands of babies over the years since then. Many homes around the country have our Panel Program portraits hanging in their homes. We are photographing a second generation of babies and to the right is an example of a father and son. Dad finished with his one year portriat in 1983 and his son finished with his one year portrait in the spring of 2012. It means a lot to us to still be around to do the next generation of babies on our Panel Program.
“What is the panel program?
Your child changes so much in their first year, why not document that with our exclusive panel program? This program is available to all newborns in the area. The portraits will be taken at 3 months, 6 months, and one year old.
“Is there a cost to participate?”
To participate in the program there is a one-time charge of $39.95 plus tax. This fee includes three sessions, and three imges that are about 3.5x5 inches, finished in a digital matt. This is a $150 value for only $39.95 plus tax!

“Is there a minimum order?”
No order is required in order to complete the program for your first child. With any additional children going through the Panel Program, you are required to purchase wallets, or a larger print. If you want to order, we recommend that you do order within seven days of your session in order to take full advantage of our special prices.

Ordering a package, Collection, for each segment of the program is your best value. If you do so, you will receive $19.95 off our exclusive panel frames when your program is completed. As an additional thank you, you will receive a certificate to continue our panel program with our 2 Panel Program at 18 months and 2 years for a special price. This is only available to those who purchase a package, Collection, at each session.

If this is your second, third, fourth, etc. child to participate in our panel program, you must order something. You may order as little as 8 wallet portraits. Only your first child is photographed with out obligation on our panel program.

“Do I have to get their pictures taken at a specific time?”
Yes. We only allow panel program sessions to book Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9 am to noon. You may make an appointment for another time, but additional fees may apply. Your child also must be photographed within 30 days of turning 3 months, 6 months, and a year old.
“Do I have to make an appointment or can I just stop by?” Call for an appointment! Our studio operates by appointment only in order to give each of our client’s the attention they deserve. Please call a week or so in advance to ensure that we will have time to photograph your child. During the summer months we are extremely busy with senior portraits, so make sure to call well in advance.

“When do I get to see the photographs?”
Immediately following the session.
“When do I order?
We encourage that you order immediately following the session, but you do have up to seven days to take advantage of our special panel prices. After seven days, our prices will return to our normal studio fees. A payment of half of your balance is required before your portraits will begin the finishing process.

“How long does it take after I order to get my final portrait?”
If you order something above and beyond the portrait for the panel itself, your final order is usually ready in about three weeks. If it is done any sooner, we will of course call you and let you know. If you didn’t order anything above and beyond the panel, you won’t receive anything until the entire program is completed at one year.

“How do I know when my final order is ready to be picked up?”
We’ll either give you a call or drop you a note in the mail. Let us know which works best for you when you come in.

“What do I do when my portraits are ready?”
We will call you as soon as your portraits are ready or send you a notification via mail. No part of your order can be picked up without being paid for in full. Orders left at the studio for 30 days past your initial notification may be subject to a $3 per month storage fee. The studio will not be responsible for orders left at the studio beyond 60 days.

“I've heard about a free parent and baby portrait session...”
You heard correctly! We do offer one free session for either a mother and baby or father and baby. We provide nice, neutral nightgowns for mothers, but if you would like to wear your own nightgown or pajamas, please bring them in. We also recommend that you wear a flesh colored bra under the nightgown. Any other color may show through the gown..We recommend doing this free session as soon as possible. The younger the baby, the better.
“I love my panel...but where on earth do I get it framed?”
Once the panel is completed, the three portraits of your child will be placed into a 5x16 matt board image and mounted. This is an odd size and frames are extremely difficult to find. Our frame shop offers a number of different frame styles and finishes that will fit your panel appropriately at very reasonable prices. Remember if you order a package at every session you will receive a discount on your frame!

“What if I want my order shipped to me?”
If you would like your final order shipped you via UPS, please let us know. There is a $10 - $15 shipping and handling fee per shipping location. This fee also includes product insurance. The order must be paid in full prior to shipping.

“What if there is something wrong with my order once I get home?”
Tell us! Please! We want you to love your child’s portraits. Anything less is unacceptable. You have the right to return or exchange it...in fact, we want you to! All you have to do is bring in everything you want replaced and we will take care of the rest. We want to make sure you are happy with your final product, so just be honest.

“What is all this stuff about copyrights?”
