Family portraits have a number of options: In-Studio, In-home or on location
Your family portrait should reflect your family’s style. An in-studio family portrait is always a wonderful and cherished portrait. We have many different backgrounds and sets to choose from to accurately reflect your family’s image whether it be a formal, semiformal or causal portrait. We can accommodate large families in our studio (25- 35 people). At the same time, nothing reflects your family as much as your home or a special place. While on-location sessions are subject to an additional fee, where else would your family be more comfortable and true?
In the past we have photographed families in their yards, living rooms, cabins, parks, with cars, on the family boat, on golf courses, etc. The options are limitless. We offer a number of sessions for In-Studio and On-Locations family portraits. Please let us know how many groupings you would like and we will help you find the proper session.
No. Families may be photographed any time during our normal studio hours which are Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you would like your family portrait created on the weekend or after hours, additional fees will apply.
Yes! Our studio operates by appointment only. Please call ahead to ensure that we have a session time available that will work for you and your family. Anytime you want to stop in, check to make sure I am available.
Immediately following the session. These are un-edited images without adjustments, They are not cropped, color corrected or retouched.
We encourage that you order immediately following the session, but you do have up to seven days to make your decisions. Beyond seven days our studio will not be held responsible for your unordered images.
This varies by season. Normally it is about three weeks for families year-round. We will, of course, contact you if your portraits get done any earlier.
There is not a minimum order.
We will call you as soon as your portraits are ready or send you a notification via email. No part of your order can be picked up without being paid for in full. We need to set up an appointment to pick up your portraits. Orders left at the studio for 30 days past your initial notification may be subject to a $3 per month storage fee. The studio will not be responsible for orders left at the studio beyond 60 days.
If you would like your final order shipped you via UPS, please let us know. There is a $20 shipping and handling fee per shipping location. This fee also includes insurance. The order must be paid in full prior to shipping. If your order is a small order, it could possibly be sent with the USPS and that cost ranges from $5-$10
Tell us! Please! We want you to love your family’s portraits. Anything less is unacceptable. You have the right to return or exchange your portraits if you are unhappy with them. All you have to do is bring in everything you want replaced and we will take care of the rest. We want to make sure you are happy with your final portrait, so just be honest.
The images you purchase are property of Giles Photography. The images are protected by the revised U.S. Copyright Statute of January 1, 1978 (Title 17 of the U.S. Code) and may not be copied (either photographically or on a copy machine), scanned, or reproduced in any way without written permission of the photographer. Permission to copy may be granted upon payment of a minimum copy charge of $500 per original image for any photographic reproduction. Illegal reproductions are punishable by federal law.
No. You purchased copies of the image. Giles Photography retains all rights to the original image for 25 years beyond my death.
